We are currently developing an auto flow control system for our forestry spraying operations. The system will enable accurate application rates no matter what the aircraft’s speed. Using GPS information, the unit will vary the chemical flow rate to suit the predetermined application rate. The system will also incorporate pilot controlled flow rate and specific boom selection for block boundary work. This unit will be operational for the start of the releasing spray program in September 2011.
